Vine Maple is a lovely large deciduous shrub or small tree, native to the Pacific Northwest. Leaves emerge slightly reddish in Spring, and mature to light green, 4”-6” wide on green to red twigs.  Vine maple looks it’s best when grown in partial to full sun with adequate moisture in well drained soil, where it displays good fall color in hues of reddish-purple and gold.  We grow ours in a low-branched, multi-stemmed form.
